Acrylic is a fine choice for most LightBlocks applications. Acrylic sheets are light, clear, and weather very well. They are available in standard thicknesses up to 33" and custom thicknesses up to 12". Thicknesses greater than 1-1/2" are not stocked in large quantities and may be subject to longer lead times.

Material Profile	UNIFORM BUILDING CODES All grades of acrylic meet the requirements of ICBO, SBCCI, BO, CA, and Uniform Building Codes for Class CC-2, Light transmitting plastics.
	HORIZONTAL BURN LENGTH Acrylic material has a horizontal burn length between 1.0 and 1.9 in/min. for 0.125" material when tested according to ASTM D-635.
	SMOKE DENSITY RATING Acrylic material has a smoke density rating between 4 and 12 when tested according to ASTM D-2843.
	UL COMPLIANCE/FLAMMABILITY Acrylic material has a flammability rating of UL 94HB, and is considered suitable for outdoor applications according to UL 746C.
	SELF-IGNITION TEMPERATURE Acrylic has a self-ignition temperature between 830 and 910(degrees)F when tested in accordance with ASTM D-1929.
	SAFETY GLAZING Meets ANSI Z 97.1 for safety glazing material used in buildings. Approved for safety glazing according to model building codes. Suitable for use in Consumer Products Safety Commission, Safety Standard For Architectural Glazing Material under 16 CFR 1201, Categories I & II.
	BULLET RESISTANCE 1.25" thick acrylic meets UL 752-bullet resistant glazing material –level I.
	HOCKEY RINK GLAZING Acrylic is suitable for use as glazing material for hockey rinks per ASTM F-1703 (Standard Guide for Ice Hockey Playing Facilities) – thickness should be 0.500" for sides of rink, 0.625" for ends of rink.
