The client wanted a dramatic statement at the entrance of this college that would express contemporary feeling without sacrificing a rich indulgence in color and pattern. In addition, the wall would have to stand up to the rigors of the student life and remain beautiful for years to come.
Once the pattern was set, the studio sampled a range of colors and thicknesses of material to get just the right combination. The panels were crafted from single-sided acrylic with our signature matte finish and resin coat for cleanability and durability. As the panels were formed in custom aluminum channels provided by the contractor, correct sizing was essential. All parts were cut to size and finished before shipping for a simple, no waste installation. |
